Scientifically named “Fructus Swietenia Macrophyllae”.

A medium-sized tree with even-pinnate leaves; which grows to about 50 meters tall. Its capsule-like fruit contains numerous winged seeds. Its trunk is a favorable wood used in producing high-quatity furniture, musical instruments, boat, car accessories and others.

Fructus Swietenia Macrophyllae bears fruits once every year. It is known as the “Queen of plants” and acknowledgement of its healthful properties has been handed down from generation to generation to the present day. The natives from Solomon and Fiji Islands have consumed it for more than 1000 years, mainly for its health properties in improving their diabetic and cardiovascular conditions.
